Do you live outside of Christchurch?_
Southern Obesity Surgery is the only weight-loss surgical practise in the South Island. Hence a significant proportion of our patients are from areas outside of Christchurch. Travelling long distances for the postop follow-up can be problematic, especially for those having a LapBand. In response to this we have developed the Local Care Package. This incorporates satellite Band Management Centres staffed by doctors specifically trained to manage LapBands. If you live outside Christchurch, and would like a LapBand then please contact us about the Local Care Package.
